Rising Sons Leadership Academy was created to help boys and young men grow into confident leaders, strong communicators, disciplined learners, and thoughtful readers.

Founder Tramaine L. Crawford built the academy from a lifetime of leadership, mentorship, education, military service, and community impact. Growing up in Gary, Indiana, he experienced firsthand how mentorship, structure, literacy, and leadership can shape the direction of a young man's life.

After serving in the military, working in education, mentoring youth, and leading leadership development initiatives within the federal government, he recognized a growing need for intentional spaces where boys and young men could develop identity, confidence, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership capacity.

Rising Sons Leadership Academy was built to help fill that gap through mentorship, literacy, leadership development, discussion, accountability, and community.
